AGC UNM Student Chapter Celebrates Experience and Gratitude
THANK YOU, AGC NM MEMBERS
The AGC UNM Student Chapter recently demonstrated its commitment and skill at the 2024 Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) Region 6 and 7 competition in Reno, Nevada. Representing New Mexico were two competition teams, Heavy Civil and Commercial, composed of 12 students in civil engineering and construction management. Their dedication was evident as they invested over 24 hours in crafting their deliverables and presentations. While neither team clinched a top-three finish this time, the experience gained was invaluable, laying a strong groundwork for future success. The AGC UNM Student Chapter sincerely thanks all sponsors for making this opportunity possible. Without their support, this achievement would not have been within reach. They also express deep appreciation for their mentors, whose guidance was crucial in preparing them for the competition. Furthermore, they thank all AGC members, including those from the Construction Leadership Council (CLC), for generously dedicating their time to support the teams through practice meetings. Your contributions have been pivotal in nurturing the next generation of industry leaders. Reflecting on this experience, your AGC New Mexico chapter is filled with gratitude for the steadfast support and encouragement received from sponsors, mentors, and AGC members alike. With continued support, the AGC UNM Student Chapter eagerly anticipates achieving even greater success in the future. Warm regards, AGC New Mexico |
