Close out your year by attending the AGC Safety Management Training Course (SMTC) and/or the Advanced Safety Management Training Course (ASMTC), which occur over three days at select geographic locations. Our seasoned instructors, Bob Emmerich, PE, CHST, CET, from SAFE-CON, LLC, and Jim Goss, CHST, from HCSS, will provide their diverse safety expertise to lead attendees in gaining immediate applicable new skills.
 
The intent of the SMTC course is to provide middle level training in the management of a construction safety program. A major objective is to teach participants to understand the principal areas of construction management and to manage the safety of the primary Focus Four hazards and other major issues at the site level.

Using NCCER curriculum, we have developed an industry-wide approach to safety through a formal, nationally recognized training program.  Designed for industry safety professionals, company safety officers, current site safety coordinators or foremen seeking to improve safety knowledge and skills. This program is also appropriate for an experienced journey-level craft professional seeking a path into the safety profession. 

• The program is designed to prepare trainees for the widely recognized safety certifications offered by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, including the Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) and Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC).
