Meet Dana Aragon, Workforce Development Director

AGC New Mexico is pleased to welcome Dana Aragon, Workforce Development Director!

Dana is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) with 15 years of association experience at the national level. In her past roles, she was responsible for education, governance, and volunteer programming. Dana’s role as Workforce Development Director is vital to the association and our members. Her responsibilities include AGC’s Multi-Craft Apprenticeship program, development of process improvement, and program enhancement. She will continue to capitalize on the already strong partnerships between AGC NM and stakeholders in the state and help to support and advocate for AGC NM members.

Workforce Development remains a priority for AGC New Mexico as we manage in the present and plan for the future. Industry recruitment and retention are essential to the future of the construction industry. Just as important as finding craft workers, project managers and supervisors is ensuring that these essential workers are properly educated and trained.  Efforts through AGC New Mexico and in conjunction with industry partners, we are focused on the goal to attract, retain, and train the future construction industry workforce.
